On the evening of Friday, July 24, the festival kicks off with a unique performance by the Superhorn! Discover the world’s longest alphorn, measuring 14 meters. Weighing 250 kilograms, the Superhorn is, both visually and musically, a one-of-a-kind piece of Swiss history, making every performance an unforgettable experience and a true phenomenon on the Alpine scene.
Walti Sigrist, a Lucerne-based alphorn player, composer, and arranger, is one of Switzerland’s most renowned alphorn players. He will collaborate with Helly Kumpusch, a renowned trumpeter and producer, to present a concert blending modern and traditional music centered around this extraordinary instrument!
